[will be moved to scraps]
bit from my sketch book
"Have I ever told you the story of the Angel that shed her wings? Sit down children and I will tell it to you. There was an angel, she was a stranger to these lands but she found great friendship and love here, eventually she chose to stay here rather then return and took a husband. She lived a long time and was very happy. As she lived she started to understand what it meant to feel mortal love and to be a mortal until eventually she shed her wings never to wear them again and allowed herself to become a mortal so she could cherish every day she had on this world. Hmm, what's that? Why did she choose to be mortal? Well sometimes you cherish something more if you know your time is limited and perhaps she wanted to be as close to her friends as she could by being mortal herself. What was her name? Hmm well I can not honestly remember...by I believe her husband called her 'Beloved'...."
