Well one of my newer Fasuix characters. Keanu's a bit of a flirt but he's really sweet at heart. The meadow they're in is covered with a very pale green (silver in the moonlight) moss called Silver Moss which is native to the planet and covers huge fields in some places.
The girl is his friend. She is a species/race of humanoid found on the same planet my Fasuix are from. The species is the only other native sentient and sapient beings besides the Fasuix. And no she is not extremely small or a young child. She's around 14 years old and 4 feet tall. Her race does not grow more than five feet and for the most part live near underground lakes. Laying next to a horse sized cat tends to make you look small. The masks are mainly only worn above ground as their eyes are very sensitive to sunlight.

PS. I'll be uploading the Fasuix wing references after I work on paper some. I did this picture at the bowling alley where it's impossible to write a boring history paper.

The masks are all made of the same material. It's one found in the underground lakes but they all vary in design depending on the creator. The do all cover they eyes though some only cover half the face instead of all of it. They are given a simple one at birth by their parents until they reach age ten and are given the privilege of making their own. :3 The one this particular character is wearing was designed by her mother as she herself still isn't sure of what she wants the design to be.
An interesting fact is that all masks made by the intended wearer are black and white. The color appears when worn and is a sign of certain characteristics. So while there may be two masks that look identical in design when placed on a table, when worn diffrent patterns and designs will show up. The material has the same magical properties the Fasuix wings make use of though Fasuix obviously have a bit more control over it ^_^
