This was originally only going to be a draft sketch, but the position and angle of the body was so close to what I was trying to get down that I decided to salvage it as best I could and turn it into a finished pict. Tried to do a back ground but nothing really came to mind at the time.
I tried to go with slightly more feminine curves since this is a female gator, but I’m not really sure how well it worked out.

The pose was a lot of fun to do, even if it was originally just a sketch that I was playing around with at the time.
Your right doing facial expressions on a scalie, especially on an alligator is proving to be quite a challenge to say the least, particularly the eyes, I still quiet haven't figured out how to do it. I'm amazed at how some artist are able to pull it off so well.
