That's... wow. That's really cool. Proof positive that you don't need pages upon pages or mad amounts of exposition to make something that hits home. I think I need to go re-read it now.

I loooooooove this story!! I never expected you to have such an incredible diction style, and such a deep, sad tone. Artists are supposed to be good at art and terrible at writing, not great at both!! WHAT IS THIS?! D:<

That line where he said he couldn't tell if the dragon's heartbeat was the dragon's or his own... aww... It's so tragic. =(
And the only time he can ever leave the cold of his house and visit the dragon as an entity separate from his own heart is when he is wrapped up in his bed-sheets... T..T
I think this highlights a struggle that many of us all go through, specifically the draconic community. Good on ya, Sprout!! Making us cry, one scaly at a time. XD

Do you know of any other stories like this? I can occasionally stumble across one here and there, but it's hard to find a truly good one by looking for it.
