woke up today with the full intention to do something productive...

then i started to doodle this thing and suddenly it was noon by the time i finished, lol!

i used to doodle guns all the time, in fact i can draw an AK-47 from memory, for this one i was staring at a picture the whole time though. and i used a ruler to make sure the lines were straight since my hand shakes a little bit when i draw sometimes.

for some reason i can draw guns and other mechanical things easily, but i cant draw cars, people, animals, backgrounds, three-dimensional crap, anything else really... the art classes at my high school weren't that great because they assigned freakin' homework, an ART class that assigned homework... i lost interst fast.

also i forgot completely how shading stuff works. i used to know at some point but now, i dont. so consider this rifle doodle a finished product.

oh crap! been rambling for so long here i forgot to mention the type of the gun! ^^; its a McMillan TAC-50!

the small bayonet doodle came as a result of a stray thought: what would a banzai charge with one of these look like? ...well, it would look a lot better than my attempt to draw a tanto, wakizashi, or katana at the end of a gun barrel, thats for sure... the gradual curve of those blades are very hard to draw.

did i mention i like firearms? lol! \m/ >_< \m/
