Got a new piercing today! :D
It's an inverted labret ;) That means it goes through my actual lip not below it.
Omg it's pretty awesome! And a nice change from a traditional lip piercing. Gonna get my tongue re-pierced when this bad boy heals up. It was fucking up my teeth so I took it out. :( But if I get it placed further back then no more gum erosion. YAY!

Its tons of fun! I'd call it one of the harder piercings, despite being the fastest to heal. Don't get it done unless you really want it. The actual piercing hurts like getting a needle shoved through your tongue, but it's over quick. The three days after where your tongue swells up and you can't eat sucks. I got really skinny haha!
And make sure you get it placed properly. I took mine out because when I would talk and spit the captive bead on the bottom would bump up against my gums, which caused erosion. :( If it's pain you're worried about then it doesn't last long and I'd go for it if you really want one! You can always take it out

I thought about getting a normal one, but when I played with my tongue piercing I always liked how it looked when I rested the bead in the middle of my lip. I thought it would make a great piercing, and the inverted style doesn't touch your teeth. :) I thought about getting inverted snake bites, but I think I prefer the labret.
