Anyhow, for those who doesn't know, this is my guerrilla soldier/ freedom fighter bear Pablo. Since many people keeps thinking I'm drawing "terrorists" LET ME ENLIGHTEN YOU.
This guy is inspired by the Latin American guerrilla groups on the 60-70ies during and after the cold war who rose up to overthrow the dicators that roled the country. I've read alot about this period and these guerrillas were more the less freedom fighters incontrast to most guerrilla groups today..
His outfit is allso heavly inspired by the guerrilla group EZLN in Mexico
Anyhow, I'm open for any suggestions about how to improve this picture^^ I'm especially wondering if the eyes too small? or if I should added another coloured background

Plus, the clothing could be a little more worn, dusty and stained (unless it's a CIA funded guerilla party ;)
On a side note, why'd me watching you back at DA expire? D:
hehe yea I guess some dust and worn edges wouldn't hurt but I'm not quite sure how to draw that yet.
and beside this character is for a big group picture called Rebels Vs Soldiers where I draw other people characters (and my own) Anyhow the point it that this picture is gonna be rezised smaller on the final group pic.. and since I've got so many characters to draw, details that people wont notice expires ;)
hmm yea I noticed you rewatched me.. strange thing that your watch expired.. let me chekc if I still watch you..
like Mikael said, he is abit narrow around the hips and below.
one things i might advise on is that the pistol is holstered in kind of an awkward way. It'd be hard to draw it quickly where it is now. lower down to just above the hip is ideal for a cross draw set up, or if it were angled so that it was in a more horizontal position from where is it now.
but yea I guess that gun holster is postioned too high.. thanks forthe tips=)
Your coloring work is always great, I just started the coloring thing with a program called Paint Shop Pro 9, and I can only hope I get better at it. I dont think the eyeson him are to small, somtimes people have trouble (like me) making the eyes not to big somtimes. So I think the eyes look great^^
