I like how you did the glasses! I think thats more appropreate for the ear setting. I think it looks pretty good for a first fox. I think it doesnt really look too much like it but if it had colour I"d be able to tell more. The jaw is a little odd for a fox but I think its very very good as... like as drawing goes, I cant draw that well. As anthros go is very half human half animal instead of leaning one way or another

So lifelike. If you were trying to stay completely away from the "toony" appearance, buddy you succeeded! :)

Acctually, I just rip off other artists' style. I look around the web to get a feel for what anthros are "supposed" to look like. Also, I look at animals to see what lines should be visible at any given angle. I didn't aim to give this a cartoony appearance, that said, sometimes I do... mostly not, though.

That happens to me. I subject myself to an hour's worth of image browsing, and I find that I've suddenly incoherently 'picked up' on the style of some random artist out of the bunch I look at.

For example, I was looking over works by several artists (Kamicheetah, Dingbat, Dr. Comet, Kandlin, Dustmeat and DrMoreau) and found that I was unconsciously rendering in the same style as Dr. Comet. See what I mean:

I'm going to work more on this one. Just noticed the jaw looks a lot better if I move the throat forward a bit.
