Your body is a great, stream train
and you’re the engineer
Taking on passengers through your mouth
and letting them off outside your rear
Milk, water, and juice
are what give you steam
while any excess fluids
you hose out with a stream
Apollo, your body is an amazing thing
as it has done all this so naturally
But, my dear, the time has come
to be the conductor of your own poop and pee
This is Apollo’s Potty Train
“All aboard” we shall proclaim
As a big boy you will be
when you learn to use the potty
Diapers have worked so far
But that’s not where your passengers should depart
Nor is it the place for excess steam
Listen close as your training’s about to start
When you start to feel a tickle
from your waist down to your toes
That’s your engine saying
It’s time to empty the hose
As for that urge to push
and your belly begins to ache
That’s your passengers saying
they can no longer wait
This is Apollo’s Potty Train
“All aboard” we shall proclaim
As a big boy you will be
when you learn to use the potty
Tickle or urge to push
That’s when it’s time to go
It’s off to potty station
You’re the express, so don’t be slow!
Upon reaching your destination
pull down your diaper and lift the lid
Then sit yourself upon the throne
and be proud of what you just did
As the conductor, it’s time to tell
all the passengers it’s time to go
Help them out with a gentle push
while you hose the excess water out

Thanks, Aura. When it comes to motivation, the best is associating something that needs to be done with something that interests you. Apollo's love for trains made coming up with this little jingle lots of fun. I was imagining his folks singing it to him as they prepped for the big transition the whole time I wrote it. :)
