yea I'm thinking that'd be it. i tend to like hard style better when mixed with others than as a stand alone.

can't recall any names of songs or artists. only that i had subscribed to ultimatehardstylez (something like that) on youtube about a year ago, but i've since stopped actively looking for more in the genre.

After listening to this with my in-ear monitors, I'd say that you don't need to change it. It's just at the cusp of being too much bass, but not quite there. The leads cut right through, which creates this superb harmony between them and the bass line. Plus, there are great drops in the bass line that keep it from becoming overbearing and monotonous. This track is like a roller coaster of awesome!
