One of my favorite anthropomorphic webcomics (since the 1990s) is "Kevin & Kell" by Bill Holbrook. It has a variety of animal characters (in an alternate world), many of whom rely on computers, texting devices, and other forms of state-of-the-art technology.
One of the regular characters in the strip is 'Rudy Dewclaw' - the biological son of 'Kell' (a wolf) and his first father (a fox), years before his mother took 'Kevin' (a rabbit) as her second husband. Needless to say, this hybrid offspring has 'issues', as he had to endure a lot of 'skeletons in the closet', over the course of this webcomic's run (such as having a hedgehog-porcupine hybrid for a stepsister; a biological rabbit-wolf hybrid sister with carnivorous tendencies; a lupine best friend who's in love with a sheep, etc.).
In 2000, "Kevin & Kell" reached a milestone (amongst its legion of readers) by getting its one-millionth 'hit'. To honor the occasion, I'd rendered a 'fan art' sketch of 'Rudy' - drawn (appropriately enough) on October 1, 2000, or 10-01-00! And if you know anything about early computer technology, then you'll know that a lot of ones and zeroes played a vital role! Anyway, I'd published said sketch in my column, in the 'funny animal' APAzine "Rowrbrazzle".
With Mr. Holbrook's permission, all of you "FA" members are seeing my 'fan art' sketch (from "Rowrbrazzle") for the very first time, for a good - and very special - reason. Starting in early February, 2012, 'Rudy Dewclaw' officially has his own 'wall' in Facebook. You can visit (and 'like') him by going to the following link:
