"So I was given some lovely vintage lace by my mum-in-law (she's a major source of cool stuff, lately), and THIS bit of awesome was in the batch: a HAND-MADE pocket flap piece, probably more that fifty years old... It was originally in an ecru colour (a kind of warm beige), but my mind immediately saw it as a gorgeous blood-red choker with a pretty "vintage"-style brass stamping in the centre. I had these bats and some pretty black edging, garnet beads and red glass drops...

Anyway, a day later, I had this bit of Gothic yummyness. >^______^<
