Ah you must be talking about the Gmork scene rigth? yes that animatronic wolf were really well done, that movie was awesome an really well done, even for today standars, and was mad all with traditional special effects, no CGI crap, Wolfang Petersen made a truelly timeless masterpiece with that movie
If I picked a similar moment it would be my Childhood game on the Playstation Klonoa. I was probably a few years old (I can't remember when exactly), but when I completed that game and saw the ending, I was like in full tears crying about how it ended. It just has to be played through and seen to be understood completely.

Hmm well, yes it looks like a sad ending and probably it can make a 5 or 6 years old bawl some i guess, but that game ending isnt any sad compared to the "sadness swamp" scene in Neverending story, at least in Klonoa´s ending nobody dies, he´s just expelled form his friend´s world
No I don't. As I mentioned, I don't dare to keep pictures on my FA account at the moment. The problem is not that I don't like drawing here anymore or that I don't like my characters, the problem is the account itself - its name actually. Since I was an idiot back then I overused my username and I don't want people to find my FA account full of porn. Next time I use a name which is generic and just use it here. An Inkbunny account is even more risky because of my job. I'd create a new account here, but I don't have much time to draw and I don't have the balls to do it.

I can't be 100% sure but I think i was mature enough when i saw that move that it added to the experience for me. that is one of my all time favorite movies though to be honest I probably learned to appreciate the move at an older age =P muck like skrill, skral ... damn it now i have to remember that movies name because i haven't seen it in ages.... welcome to another episode of MARIAN0 movie club brought to you by memory loss...
I've seen the movie and I think it was a sad part in that movie that I cried as well... later on, recently about a few months ago, I heard that in the book; Artax could talk, so... it probably would have been more painful if you hear the horse talking, "Save yourself Atreyu... I... I am to sad to go on... good bye... Atreyu."
Estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo, un pelicula hermosisimamente hecha, con buenos actores, maravillosos maquillages y effectos visuales, sin necesidad de hacer ninguna mierda con computadora, una hobra maestra.
Por suerte desistieron de hacer una remake de esta pelicula como planeaban hacer hasta no hace mucho, seguramente la hubieran cagado >X)

Awesome how you drew the underside of the VHS tape, the little squares, that is some attn to detail! I recall watching it suprisngly I didnt feel anythig or feel sad at the horse death, but I was a bit freaked out aboutr Atreyu encounting Gmork in the cave and the ensuing battle, scary green wolf eyes can give you nightmares! Besides at the end Atreyu got Artex back. Interesting too tthat after that movie the sequels sucked, nothing like the adventure of the first.
Yes, i do remember that moment! And tons of more other films and cartoons back those times, that scared\made me sad\blew my mind from all their sudden plot turns and epic drama twists, that juts TOO SUDDEN for a child's mind.. But, that haven't affected me that much.. *hides the basket of grenades*
Also, it was a really good movie..
