Sometimes doing too much tampering can "break" it if it's already working though, I always do tend to start rushing towards the end though >< Bad habit!

Well I suppose the background lacking in detail brings out the character more, but still the thought behind doing it roughly was the "wrong one" (get it over quick instead of preventing it from taking attention from the character)

Thanks, the head was actually drawn separately in a different file but I didn't like the eyes of it. Later I didn't like the head for this body so I took the head from the previous drawing and changed the eyes. It's as if they were destined to be attached :b

Thanks, I was actually surprised at how well the colors fit. I was a bit unsure about picking them at first.

I think purple and black are a more common combination than you'd expect :b
but there's always better to have more though

my favorite color is purple. but I somehow set myself up as a common green/yellow dragon.

Purple isn't my favorite in appearance, but I like it if used in the right way. It's also the color of spirit from what I've heard, that's a part of the reason I picked it :3
