Here's another piece of 'fat furry' doodle fan art (with the heaviest emphasis on 'fat furry' than the other two topics).
A few years ago, one of my anthroartist friends from central Florida chatted with me (on Instant Messenger) about an idea he was working on (along with another collaborator - who eventually abandoned the project, so I won't mention his name). It was a superhero story about a somewhat lean vulpine with the power to expand his belly to ginormous proportions (and yet, is still capable of flight - even though he might only hover a few feet above the ground)! I forget what the fox's name is, in his normal guise, but when he goes into superhero mode, he is known to all (simply) as 'Fat Fox'!
I was a 'toll collector' on the Sawgrass Expressway, at the time when this anthroartist friend told me about said idea, and I began to come up with ideas for additional characters in this superhero saga.
Naturally, every superhero needs a sidekick, so I'd created 'Pupick' - a shorter, stouter fox - known as 'Peppy Gordon' in his civilian guise. Though not as big and fat as 'Fat Fox', 'Pupick' can still defend himself with a ray-emitting buckle on his belt (placed, appropriately enough, navel-high)!
And, of course, every superhero needs a rogue's gallery of villains, and I came up with a trio of them: 'The Dietician' (a strong muscle-bound lion), 'Professor 2-D' (a chubby gopher scientist), and 'Tight-Knit' (a slinky vixen villainess, with a passion for fashion).
During lulls between collecting tolls, I'd render a few doodles of all of these characters, using nothing more than blue and red ballpoint pens, on the blank side of flyers (I used to distribute to motorists who came up to my booth). And now, for the first time, I'll get to share these rare images with all of you!
Naturally, the creator of 'Fat Fox' himself, SergeGamer, gave me permission to post my doodle of his character - in the form of a comic book cover art parody - with the voluminous vulpine and his corpulent cohort striking a pose (despite their supposed immobile appearance)!

Ehehe I remember my Beagle named "Sideburns" cause he had a big saddle spot on his back that wrapped from one side of him to the other, around his back. And he had a tendancy to run through the house after his lil brother. his wide stature causing him to rub through door ways and getting the name "sideburns" cause he'd look cartoonishly red along the sides after that.
and i know the fox your talking about

'Pupick' is just demonstrating the usage of his belt buckle ray - firing it in an off-panel direction. You can learn more about his invention, by reading the commentary about 'Peppy Gordon' (his RL identity) in one of my other doodles "'Fat Fox' Characters" #2 at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7455388/
