Whew! Back from another amazing Katsucon.
Imagine my surprise when I bumped into Spectra and her gorgeous rainbow-y self! I'm currently paying off my own husky suit made by the amazing drakonicknight (the orange husky of the sled team).
Seeing her in person made me fall in love both with the team, and with my own suit all over again. I can't wait to have my own for Anthrocon!

Yeah, absolutely! I've been pre-reged for AC for ages. Bumping into you literally made my Katsu :D (well, that and walking around in my pyramid head costume) XD It's so nice to finally be meeting members of the group. I'm fairly new to thr furry world and FA in general, so I've been kind of out of the loop with the rest of the huskies. But man, do I want to change that :)
COOL!! I didn't think there were any furs at Katsucon although I did run into an orange fur that looked kind of like a pokemon and a guy with a horse head mask. I was at this year's Katsucon. If I go to anotherone, are there hang-out spots for the furs or do you just run into them?
It's really funny but there are a surprising number of furs at Katsu if you know where to look :)
This year I saw:
A Vaporeon partial, a Suicune quadsuit (pokemanz)
A Kyuubi fullsuit from Naruto (that's probably the one you saw, he was apparently a vendor)
A black/purple rave cat from the year before, and 2 of her friends (all in partials)
And Spectra!
There was also a furmeet, but I missed it (those things are usually word of mouth). It more or less is you bump into them or chill in the atrium ground level. That's one of the more reliable spots. Next year I'll have my orange husky partial to go with Spectra's

You know what's funny? There's a chance we crossed paths because I remember seeing hats like that. A girl with that color and a light color like grey or white. I was watching the ones wearing the hats walking by and was like "Now that's interesting" and thinking how I'd look in them.
I was mostly on the floor with the balcony. I didn't notice until later on Saturday how many cosplayers were down there. I'm just surprised I didn't see any furs although I did see the pokemon.

Haha, that was probably me and my boyfriend XD My hat is white with black fur, I had stolen his hat for the photo. The hats came from pawstar, an awesome online furry hat company (love them). We had a balcony hotel room too, and I can't tell how many photos we took from there of the balcony level (we had a direct view). The cosplay numbers are really staggering. (I was the female pyramid head you might have seen walking around too)
The pure fursuits (not character ones like naruto or pokemon) I saw only by chance one afternoon, they were getting into an elevator, I guess to go back up to their room. Unfortunately I have no idea when they'd mostly be hanging around. Last two times I saw them it was afternoon, but there's no guarantee that this is when they usually come out to wander around.
