Ajin jumps. The same animation will be used for straight, forward and backward jumps. Some fighters do this (like Jin and Megaman) so it's not like it doesn't exist.

The tricky part here was the frame after standing. Needed to go up slightly while at the same time make it look like he's launching himself. So no time to crouch to set up the jump.
