I'm trying to make my way through Pokemon White with a team composed entirely of pokesav'd pseudo-legendaries. I'm most of the way through Twist Mountain and getting utterly humiliated by any trainers I somehow missed the first time I went through the area, as their pokemon are 10-15 levels higher than mine.
Pokemon have always been hard to draw for me. Gible was the hardest to do for this pic 'cause of its adorably derp body shape. Gible and Deino are my two absolute favorite first stage pseudo-legendaries. So goddamn cute.
This is by far the most awkwardly dimensioned thing I've ever drawn.

If anyone cares about my team's current state, here it is:
Derpina: Deino♀, Docile, Lv 21
Nibbles: Gabite♀, Careful, Lv 29
Stephen: Dratini♂, Serious, Lv 24
Nicky: Larvitar♂, Jolly, Lv 25
HV-250R: Metang, Hasty, Lv 22
Punchy: Bagon, STILL A GODDAMN EGG
Derpina the Deino had to pull the whole team's weight for a while, 'cause she was the only one with any reasonable offensive capability (Dragon Rage as a starting move, booyah!). Once Nibbles the Gibble and Stephen the Dratini learned Dragon Rage they were able to help pitch in. Then I focused on getting HV-250R to evolve into a Metang and stop being virtually useless. Once Nibbles evolved we had finally had some competence. Now I'm eagerly awaiting Stephen's evolution. And MAYBE MY BAGON WILL HATCH SOON PLEASE?
I knew this was gonna be a slow, tedious, and grind-heavy undertaking from the start, with a team entirely in the slowest progression. However, I had underestimated the sheer amount of healing items I need considering we're usually facing random encounters about 10 levels higher level than us. I'm banking on how rewarding it will feel to maul everything in our path 30-something levels from now.
Perhaps someday, if I manage to get a spare Gen 5 cartridge or emulator, I will do a proper run and try to get through all the story with themed team. All the same element or something. I once tried to persuade a friend to do an all sunkern run, but I'm not that masochistic and I think there would be some HM issues.
