I don't really like hearing others say their artwork isn't that good...I think all artwork is good! Like this, for instance, is something I really like. :) I love the use of colours (red and purple are just some of my many favorite colours). And jeez, your dragon here is a helluva lot better than mine ever were when I was your age! I'm serious about that too, BTW...everything here is so anotomically correct.
Probably my only creative critique I will say is there could be some lighting and/or shadowing in there, to add depth, and having it not look so flat...sorry, I rarely ever give crits...and if I do, I do my best to keep them creative, and hopefully pleasant, nothing rude...

what he said is true, this is totally pretty good for your first time, dont down yourself like I used to or you'll end up with long term artblock...then again, thats just the artblock speaking with you.
