
Shirori plushie for RAAMC
Details-
Materials- £45 (maybe a bit more, insanely expensive fur was insanely expensive)
Time- 30+ hrs (I lost track XD)
Red and beige fur- Mohair bears (Ruby (Tissavel), White Alsation)
Brown fur- The Throw Company (Chocolate moleskin)
DF shag black, red, orange, yellow- Fabric.com
Nose- Shamrock Rose
Ultra suede- Mohairbears
Everything else from local shops.
Clear plastic eyes hand painted with aryclic paint. Black markings added with Prisma markers. Stripes were cream fur sewn on and coloured with Prisma markers, as were the gradients on the hair/ tail tip.

I love how soft the fur looks, and the way you did the markings and hair.
May I ask how you did the hair? I haven't done hair on a plush yet, and I'm really wanting to do a plush of my own character and I don't know how to go about doing her hair.

Sure! I made pointed tubes of the fur (tip- I found you have to sew them the right side out as it's impossible to turn them out afterwards). Then I sewed the base of them to the plushie. I then lightly stitched the hair chunks together about half way up and added a few stitches at the front to hold the fore hair down to the face. I use a similar process for hair poofs and long hair ^^
