An unwritten scene from one of my stories, and Esto (the grey one) and Hati's second encounter.

Much hate was made in the first, as Hati despises being outsmarted; something Esto pulled off very effectively.

I've not drawn many pictures with backgrounds, 3 to date. This, out of the three, I think is my best. I've never drawn desert before, and I've never dealt with the fore-/back-ground thing.

I think it went pretty well, but I could use some practice. Unfortunately my precious doggies both look awfully flat against their desert backdrop.

Yeah, I know that Hati's hind leg looks weird... and Esto's hand..paw...things suck ass to draw. XD Also, thinking about it, the shadows on the rock that Hati is standing on could do with being a bit more defined, but I'm so sick of this picture... I think I'll leave it.

I may do the follow-up to this, I don't know.
