
The sun was setting, chilling the baked dunes and splashing them with a rare purple hue. Finally, the white dragon thought, I can sail the windy currents with the moon. A light wind rustled his blue mane. It was perfect. He could spend the night looking over his domain, seeking out prey without being seen or smelt. Even if there was nothing to catch, he reveled in the thought of a seemingly endless night in paradise.
