I think there have been Holmesian slashers for about a hundred years now. C'mon, Holmes and Watson are an ADORABLE couple! . . . and this isn't nearly as bleachworthy as the squid-fics produced by the same group of loonies. ;)

It's not the concept in general, slash is slash, it just that its just something I had never contemplated since Holms is such an intense, focused character that I imagine he died a virgin and liked it that way and Watson was a widower and a wounded war veteran who wrote of his friend as if he were combination kooky relative and amazing mystic. Not something a lover would write at any rate. Sorta like finding your grandmother's porn pictures...
