One day, Ricky needed money to buy ice cream and came up with the idea of cleaning the garage of his father, from that way, obtain the money!
Ricky's father:"Ok, Ricky! Here's the money for having cleaned up the garage!, you've earned it!"
Ricky:"Oh thanks,papa!!Now I invite Tommy to the park and eat ice cream!"
When both came to the park, Ricky showed the money he had won!
Ricky:"Look Tommy, what I won, cleaning my Dad's garage!"
Tommy:"Yay! Then, I want chocolate ice cream! It is my favorite!"
As they talked, something caught their attention!A park guard was telling a homeless Bear, to leave the park because he couldn't be there, he couldn' t live or sleep there neither!
The homeless Bear said, he was hungry, and that as soon eat something, then, it was going out of the park.
The guard said, "okay, I'll give you 10 minutes to do it"!
Ricky and Tommy, seeing that scene so sad, Ricky said:
"Tommy, I decided to do something better with my money, come with me!"
Ricky decided to buy a sandwich and hot coffee to give it to the homeless bear!
The homeless seeing the kindly heart of those children, blessed them and thanked them with all his heart!
In the afternoon, Ricky was doing the homework, and his father asked:
"And how was your day with your friend in the park?Enjoyed the ice cream?"
Ricky:"More than that, Dad! We learned that it is better to give than receive!"

That story really touche my heart Freddy... It's so true these day... There a lot of homeless and poor poeple were I live sadly... Yeah... even in that nice country of mine poeple in the misery are denied of human dignity, and these poeple are elderly poeple who have worked all their live and are abandonned from their relatives or kids... and just a li'l generosity for them would do so much... just a li'l help... but seem's that ''normal'' poeple who have enough to live has close theirs heart... It's getting tougher and tougher for these poor souls to survives... this is a big lesson your giving us with this comics strip Freddy... it's so true the message your sending here... by helping someone in distress, whatever action you do, you also do it for yourself in a way... it's better to give than receive
What Michael bear said is the sad truth!
I hate to say so, its hard to help someone, but Tommy did the right thing by buying the homeless bear food instead of giving him money! I don't know what's its like where you live,some homeless people wouldn't get what they should when you give them money! Cops are so mean! They can help instead of running homeless people away! So they don't bother people who are fortunate!!!! The problem can't be hidden! There needs a solution to the problem help those who want to be helped! Watch out for the ones who use sympathy to get what they want!
Need more kids like Tommy some kids can be insensitive as adults!

and i agree with what Tyrone and Michael said... and i feel really bad for the homeless people here in Canada.. especially the fact we have such harsh and cold winters.. one would probably be surprised how many homeless actually end up freezing to death in the winter...
