progress on Mordecai & Rigby Sculpt.

Slowly getting there. So far, on and off about ten days worth of work. I still am a far far ways off as I still need to finish detailing and smoothing Rigby, Mordecai is still in the rough stage. Lots and lots of work to do. You can see the art in the background in which I am basing the sculpts off of. artwork is being used with Permission.

It will most likely be a few more weeks until I can actually make molds of everything and then make the actual Resin castings.

I am using a Monster clay this time. A very hard wax based clay.

That's some neat stuff. Are you going to reuse the clay after you cast them in resin?

Yep, Its will all get melted back down

Why not keep your positives in case something happens to the mold?

They tend to get damaged when you make the negative molds.

Interesting. Have you tried coating them before molding?

Yep, They usually get marked up or scratched during the demolding process. I usually just scrap it as I will have a resin copy anyways when im all done. No real reason to keep the original clay sculpts

BTW, I have not forgotten about the yellow critter. I want to completely re-sculpt him so I can make a limited run of him :)
