(Update: Made Firelight's shading darker and a little harder for distinctiveness.)
This is the first picture to feature all four of the great dragons in the lineage of Firelight in one single frame. They are all unique and all have their own ways of doing things, but they are all, and always will be, family.
Since this is a unique picture, let's delve further into the bios for each of them.
BIO - Firelight
Firelight tends to be modest and demure when others treat her with respect and deference. Though looked upon as a leader, she is often extremely reluctant to ever give orders or make demands.
When Firelight changes form, she often undergoes interesting changes in personality, as well. Among her forms are a lamia, a magpie, a seagull, a wolf, and a shark (thanks again, Luana!). Her dragon form is, was, and always will be the absolute dominant self.
BIO - Firelight Blue
Because she is the original form of Firelight, she is fully known as Firelight Blue. Before the change that shifted Firelight into a white dragon, she was Blue. A deep change within her made her the white dragon, and when her old form was called for, Blue was created, the counterpart to Firelight as she once was.
Blue can often be found in quiet reflection and observation. She has a fascination in her counterpart. She tends to not step forward into important roles as often as Firelight or Blaze do, but when she does so, she speaks with more authority and confidence than Firelight herself exhibits.
Blue is known by those closest to her as "The Peacemaker," for it was her fearsome, authoritative, and nearly ruthless speech that ended a deadly war. Her words cause far more impact than claws or fang could ever hope to.
BIO - Erin
Erin is technically undead. In a previous existence as a human girl, she was murdered when her village was mercilessly ransacked. It was her older sister that enfused her with the dark powers that returned her to life. She spent many long years incased in stone before finally reviving. When she first encountered Firelight, she had almost no recollection of her past, and took Firelight's form and identity, thinking at first that she WAS Firelight. Soon her true identity surfaced and in time, the knowledge of what happened.
Erin had the opportunity to let herself become a gargoyle, the form intended by her sister. But she instead turned her back on that and chose to give herself fully to her new life as a dragon. She considers Firelight, Blue, and Blaze her family, and though she is quite different from any of them, they all have each others' mutual love, respect, and unending trust.
BIO - Blaze
Blaze might seem relegated to a "second-in-command" role to Firelight from their relative dispositions, but nothing could be further from the truth. While Blaze's loyalty is pretty much always to her sisters first, she stands up for herself and others much more proactively than either of the Firelights, which often places her in a leadership role. She tends to be a guiding light for others to follow.
Blaze's ability to shift her eye color is unique among the dragons of her world. She often shifts her eye color to reflect proximity to those whom she is closest. She and Firelight often jokingly feign embarrassment or indignation at their changes of form, but it really is just that. They both highly enjoy all of their forms. Blaze's most common alternate form is an anthro fox, followed by a lamia, and a magpie; all of which are black.

SO! For those still reading to this point...
This picture, while being a real favorite of mine, is also a PERFECT illustration of why the Bamboo pad has been such a huge boon to me. I actually penciled this picture before I bought the pad and have only just today completely finished it. This picture as a whole required five sheets of paper to do - four for each of the dragons' bodies, and one for the four close-up shots.
I have a few more classic pencil-and-paper drawings I still intend to convert, but I'll still be looking into my other projects, as well!

I'm so glad for that. And those bios were specifically designed to cull the lazy from the true noble heroes of the land. You are one of those heroes! I dub thee Sir Matthew of the Wingfoxes.
Maybe I should get back to playing Sonic and the Black Knight some more. God, that game is so amazingly underrated.

Would definitely be interested in hearing more about them all. And yes, I know quite well what you mean. =)
Thank you very much for your kind words about this. I really love this picture a lot, even if it took a LOT of time to convert. The new shading style has really helped infinitely with my drawings. As you saw, I took your advice about the eyes. <3
Erin's definitely been through a hard lot. She is a very intimidating sort, but she has a heart of gold. Or is it silver? No... I'm pretty sure it's gold. Either way, she is wonderful. She's in a better time now. And although she is certainly a loner, she is a loyal, true, and wonderful friend to anyone blessed to be in her confidence.
