I see a little bit of celtic knotwork here, made it look more older and the lineart with the paper color gives the touch, nice pic :)

I was confused and throught he had two tail-ends for a second, then I saw the other was his ear o.o

Very nice knotwork, in the smallview it looks like one of ye olden woodcuts.
