I've just finished designing the first M.80 Onza variant. Instead of bussing troops to and from the battle area, the Mk.81 Mengwa carries heavy direct-fire weaponry. It has 4 magazine-fed semi-auto 157mm recoilless rifles, firing a wide variety of ammo --- including gun-launched missiles! This is backed up with a 7mm coaxial MG, and the same 20mm autocannon used on the Mk.75 Tigerwolf tank, so it's plenty deadly even without using it's rifles.
The Mengwa has all the same protection, mobility, and sensors of the Onza, and it both still air-droppable and fully amphibious.
I'll upload the data and description as soon as it's finished.

I was wondering when someone would mention the M50 Ontos! Oddly though, you are only HALF right, as even though the Mengwa is armored, tracked, light, and has multiple rifles, that's only half the story. The other half is that these rifles auto-load from the fighting compartment. I got that idea here (the picture links are broken, but there's still some info on it;

The M114 derivative you see here has only one rifle, but uses a carousel-type autoloader.
I took this idea a step further, and decided to use 4 rifles, with 10-round detachable box-magazines, like the kind service rifle uses. This feature lets you load up to 4 different types of rounds, with up to 40 shots LOADED at once --- lets see jeep-mounted TOW outdo THAT!

Yeah, and not exeptionally complex either, thanks to the recoilless rifles.
The recoilless rifle is a highly versatile weapon that can destroy a wide variety of targets (not just tanks), largely due to thier wide variety of ammunition. Which leads you to wonder what the Pentagon's motivation was for throwing them all away, and pretending that anti-tank missiles (which only work against tanks --- FORGET about shooting TOWs into a human wave!) replaced them.
Hell, thre was even a Tank Destroyer in US service once that was very similar to the Mengwa. Go see for yourself, and read about... the THING...

Of course, noe that the US military has thrown out it's recoilless rifles and forgotten about them, US troops now find themselves totally outgunned on the modern, non-linear battlefield.
The Pentagon's solution? Import Swedish Carl Gustav recoilless rifles!...
...and only give them to Airborne troops and special forces, which are only about 10% of all US troops.....
