Fun Fact:
"Hot" spice isn't hot at all. This stuff (usually Capsaicin) just triggers the heat receptors of mamals. The idea behind it is that the plants are not eaten by mamals but by birds which carry the seeds far away.
So if you are not a mamal (any more) you don't taste that stuff.
I discovered that dried chilli is in the bird seed brand our parots prefere. I dropped some and the dog ate it - then the poor dog drained three bowls of water and got a serious diarrhoea.

Do want!
I once had a sauce named "Dragon's Blood". It was weird. The beginning taste is sweet. Then a second later, the burning starts. A minute later and you're a fully formed dragon... no wait, that's not what happened. Damn, day dreaming again.
Anyway, the stuff had a 10/10 rating for spice. About a week after you have it, the top layer of skin comes off your tongue.
