Don't beat yourself up for being at a different skill level than you have now! It just means you're seeing how far you've come, and how much you've grown and can keep growing! Be proud of how far you've come, not hard on yourself for where you were. This piece is still impressive! Not that many people have the ambition to put this many characters in one piece and make it look this good. Or have the stamina for it!
