i have all the questions about your methods 8D [i just got asked to be a partner in my friend's fursuit business since he and his fiancee divorced, so im trying to fill gaps in my knowledge, and in our colelctive knowledge base]
so most of your heads look like they a plastic/resin base, and then you attatch foam to parts liek cheeks, eyebrows, things that the base lacked? or things that needed to be embellished by the base? ie, do bases intentionally have flatter forheads so that you can use foam to make the eyes stand out in a different way for different characters?
the guy im worked with so far has done mostly toony work and wants to get into realistic and your by far one of the most realistic artists out there [in case you didnt know, i'm super in love with the way you make heads. more than anyone else.]
do you have multiple different canine casts, or one generic base that you embellish when making a head? if you wanna just send me a note thats fine but i felt like commenting so you could know what im looking at to try and figure it out might help
