Mick has emotions beyond contempt and bastardy, he just doesn't show his softer side much. Still trying to pin down his exact colour shades at the moment, I like the creamier face colour as it contrasts with the blue tones of his grey hair, but the brown of his back just doesn't look quite right yet.

The rose is a tea rose, done in art deco style because I can't draw properly. Modern tea-roses are now being cross-bred for scent as well as colour and form, so you needn't forgo perfume for a big showy bloom.
