part of the back story is after being badly wounded, the deoxys falls to earth in a cemetary and upon recovery her psychic energies absorbs the personality and most of the memories memories of a recently deceased young woman. which is why this deoxys is able to assume a female form and is plagued by memories of a past that isn't hers.
