What a great comment. It was so intriguing and relevant to the piece. This is the comment to go down in history. I'm saving it. In fact I think I will contribute in a similar manner so that some day I may end up in starcasm's pinstripe pants.
I think Eridan should have been given more 'screen time'. I adore his personality I think it is suave with just the right dash of sass. Also what's not to love about regal bad boys? And well essentially all the characters have aspects that give them "terrible personalities".

Okay, thanks for being rude and upsetting to me for very little reason, I'm sorry that my comment wasn't perfect, but I didn't want to be a creep and start gushing and gushing about the artwork because it makes me feel like a creeper. I try to leave as few words as possible, but I noticed that this picture is just really really good and hadn't received any comments, so I wanted to say something to let starcasm know that I appreciate homestuck fanart and hopefully there might be more posted if they see that there's an audience for it!
I would really really like to see more fanart of the characters. My opinion of Eridan's personality is just my opinion, and if you'd like to then we could talk about Eridan and other homestuck pursuits in private notes. Though I feel like you're only confronting me about this because you thought that my comment was terrible, which... makes me feel like an idiot for taking it seriously ¦C
I still don't understand why you're putting me on the spot like this but if you want a comment on the picture, then I'll gush from this point onwards:
I love the saturation, I love his nose shape, I love how the scarf is hilighted a little with purple to help it blend in. Those facial fins are really pretty, and I love the way that they've been done like leaves, it's not really a design choice that is seen very often - not even by me, since I drew him with dragon-like earfins. The little floaty crown is a nice touch and doesn't look like it's been half-assed at all, which is nice, but I only wish that this picture were down to the waist so I could have more to look at! I'd love to see his scarf and cape wafting/swirling around, maybe with Ahab's Crosshairs in his hands (or his white science wand raised) to be like "Yeah, I'm a badass an I fuckin knoww it".

I appreciate all the kind things you said in your second comment and I don't see why you didn't just comment like that first as your original comment was a bit upsetting to me considering Eridan is my favorite character. Hence why I drew him.
