Just looks a little short in the arms but I mean thats nether hear nor there just practice :P

Yeah, I always think the arms a little short with my marine sketches, although when I look at the arms on MK3 armoured marines, they just seem really short... I am completely obsessed with iron armour.

Its sized to the commissar standing at 6' the Marine at 7.5
The point I am making is that they use a larger 'Heroic' scale of anatomy.
Its kind really fucked up I wish I could find the image I am thinking of to show this.

One of the most annoying things i find is trying to find the height of a space marine...
Some sources say 7 foot, others say 9... some say 8 even....
Your pic seems fairly acurate... but then again dreadnoughts are fucking huge... i know for a fact that the models are not to scale... like most of the 40k models... The old catachan devils were taller than most space marine models... they may have fucked that up a bit...
The greatest sources for scale, and epic inspiration, is probably in one of those massive art books, the visions of heresy and the art of 40k i think they are called. I wish I had those books...
I saw a really good thing of a spacemarine anatomy somwhere, i think an old codex or something, but i doubt i will find it again...

The dreads are about the worst thing to try and draw with people.
I'd draw more dreads if it wasn't so stupid hard to get the right scale.

Dont want to make you jelous, but I managed to get space hulk 3 days before it was released.... Although i honestly havent done much with it... No one seems to want to play it but the models are epic.

When I first pick up this book in GW I almost cried it was so fucking epic...

Dont worry though, most artist have their own style, you dont have to do everything to perfect scale.. For example some artist who did something for the collected visions had all of his marines with absurdly shoulder pads...

oh yeah the games seem pretty solid, only its hard to find images of them online |: Silly retarted generic title. Haha.

Space Hulk is like my goal purchase for 40k, I want it so bad. :< It's like almost everyone I ask about it has it and it sucks haha.

How strange... I honestly assumed that all GW stores had the same book collection... meh...

I could probably find it at the bunker store up hear but thats like... ages away. The one I go to is rather small for a GW, but it is the one in the city so? idk haha. Maybe they are just cheep because I know they only have like this tiny wall for there books.

As far as the games go I have only played DOW1 @_@ so if theres some point in like Spacemarine where they are next to real people or some thing like that in DOW2 that would be really awesome. Though don't feel like you have to.

The one in Brisbane city? All the GWs i have seen have just a small shelf with heaps of books on it, generally the art books are at the top or the bottom with the forgeworld imperial armours... Next time you are there you could ask about it, and they often will order it in if they dont have it...

Its not a problem, it is very easy for me to get reference pics from DoW2 and Space marine that are of relevence.

Aye! The brisbane city one. Its got a book rack but all it has is like the smaller books. If I know art books they are meant to be huge! All the wow ones are really big @_@
