Number 29 of the 100 theme challenge - Happiness.
-clears throat- This one took me a while to think of. Why? Because Happiness isn't exactly one of my biggest things of my life - heck I got very little of it.
How did I come up with this? I had a dream of me making a piece like this. Something with future Leonardo particularly because things were very dark for him. Losing his sensei, his brothers going apart, getting scarred up, even losing his eyesight. Future Leonardo always tugs at my heart strings, even though he was only around for a short period of time in the series.
So, I decided to make a piece of Future Leonardo with Future NiNi (yes, she does look a little older), and I made it where she kept a pendant Leonardo was likely to have, and she gave her turtle one to him and...-gasp!- See the ring on NiNi's finger? :giggle: Gee...I wonder what this could mean...?
Honestly, when it comes to NiNi when she's older, I can see her not being that much of a fighter anymore because of wanting to settle down. That doesn't mean she'd give up her fighting abilities all together, she would just hope she wouldn't have to deal with fighting anymore. (Not likely to last long though ^^; )
Even those of dark pasts need to have a little happiness once in a while, even if the future is very bleak. We could only imagine how NiNi would react once she found out the death of Leonardo later in time.
OH! The kanji is "ai" which means love. I just thought it was very suitable.
May not be the best of quality, but hey - I had fun doing this and it's so sweet. I made this like if it were a photo. Cute, ne?
