He Loves Me - COLOR
...I actually wasn't going to post this (this was just for the heck of it coloring), but there's a story behind this that made me happy, so I decided to go ahead and post it.
I was in the airport today coloring this picture on my laptop and a little girl was watching me. She came over and said, "That's really good." and from there stayed with me for about 2 hours while I worked, asking me questions and chatting about this and that. In the end, she had learned a few of the names of some of my characters, their stories and the origin of my logo's birth. She got to play around with Photoshop on my computer and I showed her a few tricks.
When it was finally time to board, she returned to her family and I heard her telling her mother that she couldn't wait to get my book and read the story about Night and Mhina and then went on to tell her mother their story, about how Night was a wolf and Mhina a lioness and how they fell in love. ...that really made my week...and the week has just started. ♥ ...it can only get better for sure!

And a lovely story too! I can see why she made your week on a monday And I also often find myself coloring on my lappy at the airport.
Coloring-wise I especially love what you did with Mhina's hair. It does remind me a bit of the original star trek series, from the '60s.

Yeah, a little. Not really the haircut as such, but the elaborate curls, their shininess, way they reflect the light, looks a lit like that 60's style. I think they also used a lot of hair spray in those days. :)

Oh that's really interesting. I think hair is still shiny now, but I probably just need to see more 60's Star Trek pics to really understand where you're coming from.
You know, I was going to download SAI when I was in Miami, but didn't have the time. I want to download it when I'm going to have time to use it during the trial to really get a sense of whether or not it's something I want to purchase

A sweet image and maw I love doing art with my son though he gets impatient with himself that he can't pick up everything so easily. XD I keep telling him it takes lots of practice. He's more musically inclined anyway. He's got quite the imagination which I heavily encourage. ^_^

Now you'll definitely have to publish it so the girl can be a couple years older and fondly look at the book in the book store and be all like "I remember a time... When I met this authoress..."
And then she's gonna read it.
And become your biggest fan.
And she's going to find you at a book signing.
And tell you who she is.
And you'll have a teary-eyed reunion.
And you'll refrain from mentioning the fan who is currently babbling about your future.
And you're gonna have a coffee with her that'll probably cost $6 by then.
And she'll tell you how you inspired her to write.
And you'll realize the epic impact you have on people!
