I personally was pissed that Karofsky was brought back. Glee has been on a huge decline since season 2, and Ryan Murphy just can't stop with the gimmicks and kicking a dead horse. When asked if Karofsky would be back after last season's drama with him, Ryan said that his storyline was finished, and he was glad to give him a happy ending, but there was nothing more to do. WELP, that failed.\
I'm just so tired of Kurt and Rachel. It's always about them and their partners.
As for Sam, I'm shocked he was brought back as well, after all the behind-the-scenes drama. Not to mention, his story-line was so fudged up that he became a very transparent character. Same with Quinn and her continued dysfunction after...how many epiphanies?
Didn't mean for this to turn into a rant @_@. I was a HUGE fan of glee because of season one, and it just pains me to see all of the character development getting flushed down the toilet.

Fair enough, the begining of season two, actually slowly started to wean me off glee as they got into more drama and less music. Once they started upping the music again, I got into it once more. I am kinda liking the twists, but I agree some characters have gotten a little transparent, while some have gotten a little more depth.
*hugs you* its ok to rant once in a while :)

Im going to agree with you, there is something about season one that was amazing that the other two seasons just dont have... but i guess brian murphy has this problem where he starts out with an amazing show and then it goes to shit.
of course i am bias (karofsky is my favorite character and everystorylinehehasbeeninhasbeengold for me) but aside from that i agree with you.
dont apologize for ranting lol this is the place to do it :3

Pretty much, Chord Overstreet (Sam) thought he was good enough to put out an album and thought Glee was entirely the wrong direction, so he refused the contract and walked away. Ryan Murphy was probably acting a fool about it regardless.
After a while with nothing to really show for it, Chord came crawling back, so to speak, and Ryan placed him back in the show to appeal to all of the Sam fan-girls.
I would not have had a problem, if they hadn't spread his story so thin (like I was complaining about earlier). First he was the new top jock in the school with a slight possibility of being gay, then he was the vain straight guy, then he was Finn's rival, then he was the poor and homeless kid. Now, his love-interest in Mercedes just seems like another Finnchel story with them going back and forth- off and on- while revisiting the same shock as Puck dating Lauren (because she was fat).
Anyway, my two cents and your answer, good sir :p
