Gorgeous job.
I love the way you did the entire tail, with the opening just having a marvelous look to it. The sticky, slimy appendage used to snag its prey also looks fantastic with the glowing effects.
I also love the way Volscian is just sitting there with that wonderful smirk as he snatches up the unsuspecting Hida. :)

I loooove what you did with the light and the motion in the tail bits. I love the critter's expression, too. Looks very, "I told you not to touch that damn thing..."
