Here is another one of
sylex 's sketches , i thought i would colour.
I think it came out well. *wags tail*
Most aptly in the words of Sylex:
Well in those stories the moral is shown in different ways the animals act.
In most of those stories the Fox is a mster of trickery. And one of the better known stories is "Reineke and Isegrim" or simply "Reineke the fox"
As you might noticed on the picture as well as the Titel of the story I just mentioned, Reineke is a fox.
But no ordinary fox. No, sir!
He is downright criminal!
First: Fraud in multiple cases
Secondly: Thievery
Thirdly: murder
This dude is seriously a someone you should not trust.
In the end he was judged by the animals who he has done so mny bad things to. Isegrim, the wolf, whose wife was tricked by reineke, which in the end made her lose her tail, was the prosecutor in this court.
Said court failed and the bigger and stronger Isegrim has challenged TReineke to a duel to the death, which Reineke accepted.
Of course this was foolish of him and he asked his aunt (which, I kid you not, was a monkey): She shaved his fur off and told him to do what he did best.
Cheat and pull some dirty punches.
Reineke did as she said:
Slapped his fuzzy tail against Isegrims face:
blinded the wulf with the sun as well with sand.
Reineke was even rubbed in oiL, so that the wolf could not grab him.
In the end Isegrim has lost and the King who was lion gave Reineke his absolution and made him his chancellor.
And the Moral?
Don't be like Reineke who did evil deeds....
...WTF???
