One day, two friends decide to explore the local ruins together. Both friends are Shaymin, but they couldn't be anymore opposite of each other. The older of the duo is an adventurous scamp. Even when he is not in Sky Form he is daring and outgoing for a Shaymin. The younger of the two is like many Shaymin. Somewhat timid, she is easily surprised and quick to hide. While not as outgoing as her friend, she is still willing to go on adventures and play in areas where neither should be.
Since the day they met each other, Rain or shine these two are inseparable. They spend every day playing, or as some of their neighboring Pokémon might say "Getting in trouble." The duo are well known throughout the forest for getting into situations. From being chased by angry Rhyhorn, to being haunted by Haunter. She never worries though, because she knows she has a friend who will always be there for her. As long as she has him, the trouble and fun never ends!
This took me a few days to complete. I was working on getting some Unown writing on the wall, but it wasn't going as planed. This was made with a combination of Adobe Illustrator CS2 and Adobe Photoshop CS2. All line art was done in Illustrator. All coloring, texture, backgrounds and effects were done in Photoshop.
I was going for a similar look the Movies use, where they have extremely realistic, vivid background and objects opposed to the 2D characters.
