Oh this is a bad old trick, you have tricked me hard. I wasn't going to check this out because I figured the bronies would enjoy it more, but I'm glad I did.

I like how you subtly altered the feel of the two characters instead of going with the official look. Matt looks way more confident and way less, well, "scowly anime protagonist", and Garurumon looks more delicate and curious, especially with the narrowed muzzle. You've brought more depth to the characters without compromising the qualities of the originals, which in my book is pretty damn acceptable.

Glad you like it! I wanted to bring out my favorite qualities of them, they're both really caring and protective characters when you think about it. Matt really cares about Gabumon a lot, and there's a lot of times in the show where they're just hanging out in silence and enjoying each others company. Garurumon too I made more Gabumon-esque, a little more goofy and cute, because I think the roughness of his design was more the artist's style than a true representation of his character. Gabumon is actually really funny and really laid back, I don't see why Garurumon would be so different.
