I feel like spikier hair could look nice, but I love his colors.

I dig how the design just flows directly from hair to the head into the body, it comes across as being somehow more "realistic" while maintaining a distinct cartoony feel. I am also way digging that hairstyle although I can understand it wouldn't be for everybody.
