This image feels... violently emotional. When I first saw it my first thought was a dark, shadow "goodbye", echoing as though spoken in stone alley streets. Those eyes are so... tragically absent. The darkness seems to slowly creep along that niche between jaw and throat and... as it swallows inches of face, it just feels like... he's leaving...

It also feels very final. Like this is definitely the last time we'll ever see him... not that he'll die. Simply cease to exist... like he's off to vanish into some oblivion where he'll sit, head bowed and cross-legged, for all eternity alone and unseen. Perhaps I'm getting overly enveloped in the artistic side of things, but... it's incredible. It feels... devastating.

Makes me feel....sad in a way on lonliness and silence, great in any case. The drawing that is.
