I shouldn't have used that particular thumbnail because it's not actually a remix. Although I'm planning on incorporating some melody snippets later on....
Anyway.
If you're a fan of Star Control or Star Control 2: The Ur-Quan Masters (http://sc2.sourceforge.net/downloads.php), then you'll definitely recognize the icon for this song. (If you haven't heard of either, click the link and download it!)
What you might not have heard of is Project 6014 (http://www.star-control.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=668). If you haven't played SC2, then don't bother clicking the link. But if you HAVE played SC2... Click it immediately! I can tell you right now that Project 6014 is the most exciting thing to happen in the Star Control fandom in a long long time.
Anyway, I should probably start talking about the music...
The Under is the name of a certain type of space, other than Hyperspace, Quasispace or Truespace, originally utilized by a non-canon race called the Enerkuirf. Note: this piece is VERY MUCH UNFINISHED. When I finish this, I am going to submit this to the amazing creators of Project 6014, but I honestly have no idea whether this will be used or not.
By the way, "The Under" may or may not be the same thing as *below*.

Came for the Chenjesu, stayed fer the tunez. Nice job, I could see this being in a SC game, has a similar "feel" to a lot of the SC2 stuff. :3
I have yet to hear of this Project 6014, and am intrigued, but as the previous poster mentioned, the link is non-functional. :<

Yeah, this particular song PROBably isn't going to be in the game. I'm in this weird state right now of not exactly being on the P6014 team but I kinda am but I'm kinda not... I've been talking with the project manger though, and I think some of my input is going to be used, and I might be working on the music as well, along with TheMisterCat. (What I'm really hoping for is my race the Dyandod to be included...!!!!! )
Hey, if you want, I'll be sure to tell you when it's officially released! (which is supposed to be around June/July 2013 or so) Honestly, I think I'd just wait for the official release rather than play the amazing demo and then have to wait half a year to find out what happens next!
