I proudly present what is, to my knowledge, the very first (and probably last) piece of St. Dafydd's Day themed babyfur art.
This pic is loosely based on a true story involving me, my grandmother and an onion, but I changed it to a leek in the comic because they're easier to draw! Since Zee-Zee once mentioned that Leeks were his favourite vegetable, I decided to include him in a fun March 1st comic!
The art was a bit rushed, but I think I can fix it in the inking and colouring stages. I may also try to polish up the writing a bit. Anyway, I hope everyfur likes it, I'm still new at this whole comic thing...
Now, who wants to share some yummy Potato Leek soup?
Stars:

I'll announce when the coloured version has been uploaded in my kitty journal!

Ooh! Thanks for coloring it, Kaffre. I will definately say that it was much worth the effort.
Aside from the fun storyline in trying new things, I can't help but think of the pun that would go with "leeks" as well as one of my favorite Pokémon, Farfetch'd. That cute quacker always marched around with one of those in its hand and seemed very proud to do so.
Back to the story, now knowing how the leek tastes, I wonder if there will still be takers for the soup? :)

You know, I considered adding a "leak" joke, in the third panel, but couldn't think of a punchline. It's nice to know that Poke'mons enjoy leeks though!
I imagined the cubs being a bit hesitant, but the soup smells very good so they decide to eat around the leeks only to find the veggies to be quite yummy once they've been peeled and cooked!

*huggles the kitty super tight* Kaffre fankyooo so very very much for including me in your cute little comic. this really made me giggle. leeks are very macig i fink so they must make very very good wands. I giggled at silly welshie, i dont fink they taste very good if they dont get cooked first. *huggles the kitty more* This really cheered me up fankyooo bazillion millions
Gem you look so sad losing your faery wand! But who needs a wand when you've got Grub? :)
This is super cute! I like veggies but I've never tried eating a leek raw! I dunno if that is a good idea to do. But now Welshie can say he's a tough cub who tried!
Kaffre this is so fun! :)
