You remember Bird, yes? He was my owlbear.
WELL, since I was having so much trouble with his wings and time is short before FWA, I decided to add a crest and turn him into an oviraptor instead.
I mean, when I posted him asking for opinions, everyone said he looked like an oviraptor anyway, so might as well. >.>
B'awing aside, you can see his new pupils -only added because the marker leaked through when I tried to color the back of his blank eyes black for better vision- a wonderfully derpy crest and one hand paw/claw that I've made so far.

well I'm no expert
but someone onced brushed out fleece to blend with fur and it helped the semas
if im remebering correctly another option is airbrushing or trying to redo just the fleece part
but all in all I think its gorgeous work cant wait to meet you at fwa ^.^
but I've never done fleece part heads so i cant say anything expertly

If he was made with fleece, it'd be easier to blend, but his beak and crest are made with felt.
It was a terrible decision on my part, but I thought it might work as a beak better than fleece.
I'm going to try painting, but felt doesn't take paint very well AT ALL. x_x'
