Alright... Wow. Time for a bit of story time!!!
Fur fright 2010, on the last day, me and my mate were walking around when we stopped by Rukis' booth, where she was giving away little grab bags. The grab bags had candies and a prize in them (The prizes were written on tiny slips of paper), but since it was the end of the con, the prizes weren't really able to be turned in, so to speak. She gave out the bags just so she didn't have to throw away good candy.
Just for fun, we both looked to see what our prizes were. he got a free digital print (Of one she already had). Rukis decided to be nice and give him one that she had a copy of. Mine was... A Free Color Digital Badge. As it turns out, there was literally only ONE in ALL of her grab bags. But since it was the end of the con, I couldn't really turn it in, haha.
Instead, as a joke, I made a bit of a wager that, if I could hold onto that tiny little piece of paper for a whole year, and turn it in next Fur Fright, if I could take the prize then.. and she said yes, haha.
Well, I actually turned it in 6 months later at FA:U, but she accepted it anyways (Because she's AWESOME). And Now I got this! ->
All in all, it was over a year before I actually got the badge, but I don't care, it was free and it was awesome!

I remember meeting Rukis at my first FAU (first furry convention ever actually) like, two years ago I think.. she was very very nice, my friend Kelsey and I got some really good art advice from her. And free pencil badges, which pretty much made our first-con experience, actually x3 She probably doesn't remember us, but she gave us art tips we still use xD

You'd be surprised. I gave her the piece of paper at FA:U, sent her the info for the badges the next week, and pretty much never said anything. the next Furfright was like... 6 months later, and I walked up to her booth (like I'm sure a thousand furs have done and would continue to do), looked at me, and said "Hey... I owe you a badge, right?"
Granted, I was wearing my other badges, and the name Kajowwojak is a bit hard to forget... still. she remembered me :3
