I've been really sic k the whole week, which has slowed down my art progress... It sucks, and because of it I feel a bit stumped with this picture in regards to a background... >___> I love how it's coming out so far though.

My favore not-main-cast mare.
I would suggest for the background, keep the pillars you seem to already have, put a balcony silhouette beneath them and a night sky with the moon centered between the pillars. You'll need to backlight her when you color her with a bit of silvery-white around her upper surfaces for moonlight, but I don't imagine that will be a problem with your skills.

Well, since instead of people mindlessly saying your good, something that you learn nothing from, only 'faults' i found was that the inked lines needs to be more... 'crispy'? Some of them are not as clean as they should. and the left eye is too far to the left, or they eye on the right it to far too the right compared to that on the left. the shield gives the image a 2nd perspective kinda, like the floor is a large sphere and the carpet is hanging over a round edge? I cant describe items in 3 dimensions! But still, overall awesome image, nit picking on the line, fixing the eye, and make the shield be looked at from same perspective as rest of picture.

I am trying to draw thinner and morew elequent lines, but as a result they are still kind of shaky, so I need to get more practice in on that. =w=

if this is a WIP then i want to to toss all my art in to the fire and never want to look at it again, because this is simply marvelous
i have 1 critique thou the back leg has a unnatural look about it, it seems short and bended out of proportion.
