I’m mostly posting this to irritate a friend of mine, nevermind me! I know yer all just here to see what sorta inflation art I purchase and slap up next, so just hold on. I promise we’ll get back to that eventually!
A looong time ago I found myself utterly fascinated by John Barrett’s Roxikat persona, and spent a bit of time messing about with the concept of a furry suit that would be able to actually grow/inflate on stage. Doesn't everyone want to be a balloon kitty? .... Don't answer that! This never really got past the design point, but I did have a bit of fun coming up with various methods for an outfit to foof on up to ludicrous dimensions. Unfortunately mechanical concerns defeated my best efforts, in the end.
Seeing as how the WTF factor in my gallery has dropped of late, I just thought I’d slap some before/after photos of my goofball efforts up here.
Sigh bemusedly, roll your eyes, and continue on your way. ;)

Makes ya wonder just how much random mayhem Roxikat's been the muse for over the years, doesn't it! Glad ya find it amusing. I even had the opportunity to purchase artwork from Barrett a few years ago, which was worth every penny. It resides a bit further back in the gallery here.

Ok, perhaps a smidge of a half an aeon? :)
It has been a bit since we chatted, true enough. I lurk about AIM presently at 'seritaph21'(highly sporadic schedule for it), which I think we may have conversed through before, although you probably no longer use the same names as you did back then.
And yes, I've seen both the Balloon Animal and Fursuit Inflation Tests that you put together and been darn impressed by them. Kept meaning to comment on 'em to you... but I'm really lazy.... Sorry 'bout that!
As to the design, I can bug you on that. It's pretty kludged together, really. Nothing elegant about it.

You may want to invest in a larger chair. I doesn't look like that one is helping. *bam! foot in mouth* Whoh, that wasn't even supposed to be a fat joke... There MUST be something clever to say about you floating off the edge of the chair, right? I blame the english language. And my foot tastes icky.
